Toggle Visibility

Toggle Visibility Hotkey if you wish to toggle the Dock's visibility using the keyboard, define the applicable keystroke which can include the Ctrl, Alt, Shift and Win keys (this latter key may be labeled "Start" on some keyboards and is situated between the Ctrl and Alt keys on the left side of the keyboard).

If you are running multiple instances of Circle Dock, then you are strongly advised to select a different Hotkey for each instance.

If you intend to set Toggle Visibility Mouse Button to "Keyboard Emulation" (so you can control Circle Dock using the keyboard or a remote control), then certain keys are reserved (such as "Left Arrow", "Right Arrow", "Space", "Enter" etc). If you wish to use one of the reserved keys, then you should include a "modifier" such as Alt and/or Ctrl.

Toggle Visibility Mouse Button if you wish to toggle the Dock's visibility using a Mouse button, select the button here. Note that you can only use the Middle, XButton11 or XButton21 buttons - the Left and Right Mouse buttons are not available as visibility toggles.

"Keyboard Emulation" should be selected for keyboard control of the Dock. In this mode, certain keystrokes emulate mouse movement and button clicks.

If you are running multiple instances of Circle Dock, then we advise you not to use the same mouse button to toggle the Dock's visibility on more than one instance,

Hide Options here you can select the options for hiding the Dock. Note that Hide Dock After Opening Files/Folders is a bit of a misnomer as this governs the hiding of the Dock following any Left Mouse Button click except a click on the Centre Button when at a lower level (ie within a Dock Folder).

Notes: 1 - Circle Dock supports mice with 3 or more buttons. On 3 button mice only the middle button is available but on mice with 4 buttons, XButton1 is available as a visibility toggle. On mice with 5 or more buttons, both XButton1 and XButton2 are available for use as visibility toggles. With regard to mice with more than 5 buttons, those extra buttons are not supported.
